If the appearance of your product creates value, you should consider whether it should be protected with a design registration. 

There are certain requirements for this to be possible, among other things, the appearance must differ significantly from other existing designs. 

If your design meets the requirements for registration, consideration should be given to how it should be reproduced in a design application (whether it be photos, drawings, etc.). 

We recommend that you protect the appearance of your product if it differs significantly from other designs and if you believe it creates value to your product.
