PATENTS
If you have come up with a technical solution to a problem, you may be able to patent it. A patent right is an exclusive right to produce and sell your invention, and with a patent you can ensure that you are the only one who can make money from your invention as long as the patent is valid. For an invention to be patentable, the invention must be novel, have an inventive step and be industrially applicable. In other words, it must be new (i.e. it must not have been published anywhere else in the world) and it must differ significantly from other inventions, and it must be possible to use industrially.
